The blogcast shows how to enable a default task to help keep the SMS DB clean and also how to install and configure the SMS 2003 Client Health Monitor Tool. The default settings in SMS don&#8217;t allow you to set the number of days before a client becomes inactive. That&#8217;s your job to decide based on the organization and how long a system is off the network. The default is 7 days, but as you can see below, we can make that time custom if we have the client health monitor tool enabled.</p>
