What is the best health care job to have?
I’m trying the best career path to take for me. I want something with good hours and that doesn’t require alot of schooling.
I’m an unlicensed nurse’s aid now and I do the desk and watch heart monitors on occasion but I don’t want to be a nurse.
I did look into physical therapy but I’m looking at 4+ years of schooling and I’m 31.

Could we have doctors monitor people and approve or disapprove coverage based on life style? For example if you are fat and not losing weight or making an effort to lose weight they are denied coverage for Type 2 Diabetese. Or if the smoke no coverage for lung cancer. Or as people progress to a healthier lifestyle the continue to maintain coverage and as the get healthier the system saves money?

The bill’s health rules will affect “every individual in the United States” (445, 454, 479). Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors.
But the bill goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446). These provisions in the stimulus bill are virtually identical to what Daschle prescribed in his 2008 book, “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.” According to Daschle, doctors have to give up autonomy and “learn to operate less like solo practitioners.”
